Sweet Mama Ollie was found under a bridge in Yerington in April 2026 and brought to the WARF sanctuary. It was soon discovered this young girl had several kittens on-board. The delivery was traumatic and Ollie ended up having an emergency C-section. Unfortunately, some of her babies didn't make it, but Ollie jumped right into Mama mode and has been nurturing her surviving babies for the last many weeks. Needless to say, Mama Ollie has been through it and is one tough little lady. She and her babies are in a terrific foster home where they feel safe and loved; they are all blossoming. Because she was a very young mom, she is still learning how to play, herself. She is affectionate and *talkative*, and spends much of her time with her foster dog siblings. As her foster mom explains, you can often find her laying down in the middle of the circle of begging dogs. Mama Ollie is a true character.
