WARF'S 25TH BIRTHDAY FUNDRAISER!
25 years ago, after the death of our beloved Wylie, one of our founders went to the old Reno Animal Control facility to find a dog to foster. She noticed that four of the kennel cards had the corners turned down and asked why... fast forward an hour or so, and a Honda Civic loaded with four very lucky dogs exited the shelter on what was to be their last day on earth. All four dogs were placed in good homes, and a rescue group was born.
Donations are what keep WARF going, and what enable us to save lives. Without donations we would be unable to provide veterinary care, spays/neuters, boarding, training, and food, as well as ongoing medical treatment for special-need pets. We are an all-volunteer organization, and every penny that is donated to WARF goes towards helping the animals. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and your donation is fully tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. We and the animals thank you!
