This beautiful 68 pound spayed female shepherd was rescued from a California animal shelter. Ashlyn is approximately four years old, is current on her vaccines and is on heartworm prevention medication. She is a very agile and active dog. She loved playing with her Shepherd foster brother until he got adopted; now she's lonely and wants a playmate! Ashlyn would do best with a large male dog who is able to handle her exuberant play style. She is very playful and loves to chase balls and frisbees--and of course she loves her squeaky toys! She is crate trained, housebroken and good on a leash. She has also completed Obedience l and ll classes. She is very smart and loves to please her human(s) and also bonds very quickly to her person/people. She is very protective of her home. Ashlyn does have a high prey drive, so no small animals (including dogs), and she requires a minimum 5 foot high solid fence.
