An owner is urgently trying to find a safe, experienced home for their 6-year-old Boston Heeler. On Friday night, she attacked her Shih Tzu, resulting in a severe injury that required emergency surgery and removal of her eye. This was her 9th attack and the most serious.

She has a history of unpredictable aggression toward smaller dogs. For the past 3 years, they have worked with trainers and behaviorists who recommended strict management and separation, which we have consistently followed. Despite this, another incident occurred where her mom was watching my toddler and animals and didn’t realize the heeler was outside when she let out my shihtzus to potty.

She has successfully lived alongside a similar-sized dog (our Goldendoodle) and has coexisted with a cat, but due to her history, she should be placed in a home with no other pets and no children, or with someone highly experienced in managing behavioral cases.
