Meet Dixie! 10 year old English Pointer. She may be a ’Senior', but she certainly doesn't act it. She enthusiastically goes on walks — but needs limits set, because of her arthritis! English Pointers don’t know when to stop!!! She gets along with other dogs in a public environment but prefers her home to herself -- so she will need to be the only dog in the household. She deserves that luxury, after all she’s been through. Dixie really is a total sweetheart, will bond quickly and strongly, and will make a great home companion and outdoor fun-buddy!
