WAYS YOU CAN HELP WARF

If you are able to make a donation or volunteer some time, it can make a big difference in an animal's life. Whatever your interests or abilities, your help is much needed and greatly appreciated.

Fundraising

Funding is one of our greatest needs. WARF is all-volunteer, and donations go directly to helping animals in need and their families. Your donations help with emergency veterinary care, boarding, spay/neuter procedures, training, public assistance funds, medications, food, and much more.

Our lifesaving sanctuary in Stagecoach is also funded entirely through our fundraising efforts. We are always looking for silent auction/raffle items to help us raise money at our events, so donations of gift certificates or other items that we can sell are also appreciated.

Become a Volunteer

If money is tight but you could spare some time to help, we have a variety of volunteer opportunities. From hands-on help to caring for animals to using social media to spread awareness, helping with events, answering phones, construction/handyman projects, or just about anything else you can think of, please volunteer... the animals need your help!

To apply to be a volunteer, please fill out our Volunteer Agreement, and email it to us at info@tahoewarf.org.

Foster an Animal

Foster homes are true lifesavers. Fosters help us to evaluate the animals we rescue and ready them for placement in their forever homes. We continually look to add to our network of fosters, so if you have any room in your home and your heart we would love to hear from you.

If you're interested in providing a temporary foster home for an animal in need, please fill out our Foster Application Form, or the DAWG Foster Application Form.

If you'd like to take the first step in changing an animal's world for the better, please email us at sam@tahoewarf.org or call 775-338-6631 today. We look forward to meeting you!
